WUXU is a research no-profit association founded in Bologna in 2017.
WUXU focuses on the Italian social reality, Europe-Far East cultural exchanges, interdisciplinary researches and contemporary art practices. WUXU aims to build a researcher's alliance which is well connected with the multitude and at the same time can keep an independent way to proceed. At the same time, through its work, the organization aims to establish its role in the social mechanism.
The term WUXU has two meanings:
The first one means “theoretical discussion”, the second one regards the theoretical approach to a practical issue, or wushi.
The term wuxu was also used by Chinese author Shi Tiesheng in his Notes on Principles (Wuxu Biji), a book which collects a set of personal views of the writer on social development issues.
